About me…
I was born in May 1978 in Larissa. In 1991, I emigrated with my family to Germany. I attended various schools, and in 2011, when I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, I found an outlet and meaning in my life by pursuing my childhood dream: to become a writer. In 2016, I published my first book, How Greek Are You?, with Fylatos Publishing. The title was striking but not racist. On the contrary, it asked a Greek living in Greece a question to a Greek abroad: “How Greek are you?” And the answer was: as Greek as you are!
In June 2023, as every year, a theatrical performance was staged by my school, Tabularasa. It was the traditional end-of-year performance. Together with my colleagues in Criminology 2, we wrote a one-act play titled Love Is Dead. On September 20, 2025, my monologue Why Don’t You Come Back? was performed at the Analogio International Festival, directed and performed by Enke Fezollari.
My love for theater started very early. Back when we still lived in Larissa, we went with my elementary school to the Thessalian Theater to see a children’s play. I was impressed by the actor’s way of communicating with the young audience. Later, in the first year of high school, I participated in ancient theater and performed Iphigenia in Tauris, experiencing the grandeur of theater as it began in ancient Greece.
